Not to get ahead of things, but one of the ideas I had for the next tournament was a decades one, where each one of us gets a different decade. Is this too bland?

That would probably require a draft. Unless one person gets 1999 Pedro and someone else gets 2000 Pedro.

I think if we do that, a lot of guys are gonna end up on almost every single team (Babe Ruth, Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, etc.)
I think since we're only dealing with the 25 best players from each decade, repeats will be minimal, and every decade will be pretty stacked. I can't think of a decade I wouldn't feel like I could compete with.

Oh well, just an idea. Randomizer for the decades for sure though and then we can trade our decades amongst each other.

The decades thing is just one of the non-draft proposals I wanted to put on the table.
Wasn't there one about first names proposed by phil in the last tournament thread?
