It’s ten miles long. A planet killer only needs to be 6 miles long.

Also, this probe is travelling 9 miles a second?
That’s astounding. How did they get it to move so fast??

I know they did a gravity assist at Jupiter, but most of the velocity was just from the boosters during and after liftoff.

It’s so bizarre. 9 miles a second in our terms would see your flesh and skeleton melt.
But in space it’s nothing. As immense a speed as it is.

This is the same probe, and a picture it took of Pluto. It just takes time to send pictures through space.
