Well, here's Tua's golden opportunity. Nobody's waiting over his shoulder; it's all Tua or bust.

Yeah, if he fails I'd pretty much rather see a Bowden/Perry wildcat situation than Rudock

There is a 0% chance Ruddock plays barring injury. It's Tua all the way.

Fitz has the virus. It's all on Tua's shoulders now.

Just pretend like you didn't watch that YT video so you can get back to your previous levels of optimism.

Yeah, haha.. It's just so clear that defenses know how to play Tua now. . I just really hope he figures it out this week. Maybe the coaches can get him there somehow.

Oh.. yeah.. haha.. Ruddock was their practice squad QB, being brought up to fill in as Tua's backup this week.

This is going to be the best thing that ever happened for him.

You never know. He just needs to see the holes in the zones and separation in man when it isn't obvious. I'm sure they've been drilling it into his head all week. Like 4/5 said, maybe this is a good thing, him knowing it's all on his shoulders. Might have Parker back and with him and Gesicki he will have a couple of big bodies to heave it up to.

My theory is that they've been telling him that he doesn't need to go out there and try to win the game by himself, he has the #1 defense, etc. That kind of stuff. And he's internalized that and become too risk averse. I think the message needs to be that it's not the end of the world if he throws an interception. Play smart, be safe with the football, but don't be afraid when there's an opportunity.

True. And I expect a much less conservative game from him also because an injury at the end of the season wouldn't be the end of the world. I expect him to maybe throw an interception or two, and take a vicious hit here and there going balls out trying to make some big plays.
