There were these two white women in his audience, with pink and blue hair that every time they showed them they were scowling or shaking their heads in disagreement with Dave. I can't imagine those tickets were cheap, how could they not know by now who he is or what kind of jokes he tells? Seems like a massive waste of money on their part.

yeah, i saw them...and they were cheering him super loud at the beginning so it was surprising.
Seems social media is trying to get the special down already.

Yeez.

I can't imagine they will take it down. Netflix had to have know after watching that that there would be controversy. He's not subtle with his jokes, lol.

They really didn’t like the Trump joke.

Dave is incredible. Master storyteller. I’m not sure how I felt about his mic drop line tho. His story about Daphne felt like a white dude justifying saying racist shit because he has a black friend. He’s probably the smartest guy in most rooms he’s in, but that last story felt wrong.

Who cares what they thought? What did you people of quality think? I have been following him and Louis CK since they were on the same Night of the Young Comedians special on HBO hosted by Shandling, and this was the first time Dave felt off to me.

Less than 2 weeks ago I saw Bargatze for the third time. He had some great bits and I will continue to look forward to his new stuff, but I think his best hour is behind him.

Tonight I saw Louis CK. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen him. He’s been my favorite forever, but I don’t think I’d seen him since 2012. He had a run of hours in the Aughts that was otherworldly. He’s still great and I laughed a lot, but I was never struggling for air and wiping tears out of my eyes. I was happy though. He’s doing two sold out nights in town at a nice theater. I’m so glad he wasn’t cancelled for masturbating while being unattractive.

Does anyone know a rising star we need to see before he or she breaks? Louis and Nate and Dave are guys I saw in clubs for $20. I’m ready for new blood.

Yeah Nate's latest special wasn't as good as prior I've seen from him. I sure do love his delivery though.

His delivery is everything. I could never retell a Bargatze bit and get a laugh.

Don’t know if he’s necessarily up and coming, but I’ve been watching a lot of David Gborie lately. Generally cracks me up.
