King scorches. Get ready for a good time. We saw him back in October.
Yeah saw him in March in Port Chester. They are amazing to see live.

Nice, Megafauna is a nice kind of quirky.
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

Here's the big four for July:

Ocean Alley at the Bluebird Theater
Ziggy Marley at the Mishawaka Amphitheater
Khatia Buniatishvili at the Hollywood Bowl
Raconteurs at the Greek Theater

Just saw them last week at a sold out 1,000 person venue. They are really solid live and the singer is great. Hope you can have a few cold ones and go with the flow.

I saw them twice last year... I will definitely have some flow going with Mary Jane when I see them again live. Chiaroscuro was probably my favorite album of 2018.

Only discovered them this year and I love that album. Do you know if Stained Glass is written about the guys in Sticky Fingers? Seems like it could be pretty well directed at Dylan (the singer).

Not really digging the new song yet, hoping I can put it into context with a new album, I don't know who it refers to. I heard The Comedown last year on a podcast, latched on, and have been hooked. Really excited to see them again after they had a bit of success.

This Monday I’m seeing Mastodon play their Crack the Skye record, also Coheed and Cambria but I don’t really listen to them much anymore.

It was free VIP access, can’t turn that down.

That Mastodon set will be killer.

Not upcoming, but I saw The Royal Concertgebuow Orchestra perform Beethoven's 7th in Amsterdam a few weeks ago. It was mindblowing.

Marcus King Band again did not disappoint. They are really amazing live and a whole other animal than their studio work. The fact that they have played so many shows has only tightened the band even more than when I saw them in March.

Probably one of the five best bands I have seen live.

So these three shows at Brooklyn Bowl, without announcement, focused solely on each of their albums respectively. They did not play them cover to cover but crafted the sets with only songs from that album with an assortment of cover songs. Night 1 (which I was in attendance) was their first album, night 2 their self-titles album and the EP, and night 3 Carolina Confessions. Not a single repeated song over 3 nights without any fanfare or upfront discussion. Pretty cool. All shows appear to have well broken the 2 hour mark.

That would have been awesome to have been to all three shows.

The only cover they did when I saw them was My Prerogative by Bobby Brown. He didn’t sing it or anything. They just played the music in the middle of a jam on another tune they were playing. It was really cool.
