We keep hearing fan theories about a Kylo Ren redemption arc. But what if, instead of Kylo, Ep 9 gives us a Hux redemption arc? Would people be interested in a Hux that turns on Kylo Ren and his own First Order to join/spy for the Resistance/Rebels? Daisy and Dom have such great real life chemistry, it could be fun to see Rey trust Hux when no one else in the Resistance does. Maybe Hux joins Rey and Finn on a mission?

Maybe Hux gives them the thing that cripples the First Order once and for all.

You should make a YouTube video about that theory.

You’ll be headlines worldwide overnight.

It's not really a theory so much as a dude thinking out loud and wondering what other people think of that idea. I don't want this to become a thing, guys.

Im not going to link to the clickbait, but im guessing you saw it on facebook, did you see that article about how Mark Hamill says its time for him to move on from star wars? Some comments about how he isn't emotionally connected to it anymore due to everything that has happened with han/luke/carrie fisher.

I did t see that anywhere?? But he’s been so verbal vomit lately even the worst click bait sites have given up. And that I think is by clever design/counter measure especially as it relates to anything he says.

He’ll be back with Luke don’t worry. And he’ll do celebration and all that stuff. Don’t buy the clickbait.

Mark is a professional. If called to the plate, he'll knock it out of the park. But some of these comments - even if taken out of context - make my heart hurt.

You’ll forgive me if I don’t read that but it’s lrobably also true he’s conflicted and pissed about what has happened to his character but hey probably getting a few quid for doing an interview?

My two pals asked him on twitter months apart, could they interview him for their podcasts and he replied personally in dm and was his usual lovely funny self but he’s not allowed do any interviews for a few years under nda and they’d have to ask Disney pr for the interview.

So none of this stuff is him being angry truly, It’s kinda stage managed to keep the film up in lights no matter what.

I dont forgive you
“I haven’t really thought about [Episode IX] because there’s such a sense of closure, Luke’s story is told. What more can I do?" Hamill shared with Games Radar. "And you know, you have to start disconnecting from it emotionally. The main thing [that shocked me in The Force Awakens] was – Han Solo is killed! I’ll never get to work with Harrison again. Luke will never see Han again. That’s what struck me, that was the first break, we lost a member of the band."

If the death of Solo wasn't enough, his character's passing in The Last Jedi was seemingly the nail in the coffin.

"And then what happened with Luke [in The Last Jedi], I said ‘Okay, that’s the next link’ when I was still thinking I’ll come back as a Force ghost," Hamill noted. "And then to lose Carrie in real life, I said ‘That’s it’. They say you can never go home again, and that for me was the real indication that it’s time to move on.”

Yeah I’m not seeing anything apart from an actor doing his best to get the readers of this article to treasure TFA and TLJ as it’s the Last well ever see of these characters. Aka doing his job promoting.

I’ll bet your entire vinyl collection right now he’ll be back in 9 and doing pr bright as a button.

You’re paying shipping.

Im not speaking anything to whether he will be in 9 or not. IM speaking to mark hamill the person and his...seemingly.....desire to begin to move on from star wars. Luke Skywalker.

That saddens me as a fan. Thats all.

I get ye. Look at his career though. Fame then 30 years wasteland. He’s delighted Star Wars came back and involved him. You’re picking one interview out of thousands where he’s over the moon. He’s probably just bored answering the same questions. I know I would be.
