Hard disagree. A Biden presidency with a GOP senate would probably be a very accurate reflection of where Americans are at right now. I’d be thrilled to see the next four years playing out with a couple key EAs (climate and taxes), and a return to bipartisan legislation that sees all voices represented in DC.
I'm not saying the reflection is inaccurate it's just ugly. Its the cleanest mirror in the world with Danny fuckin Devito in it.

Donald Trump is a cancer that needs to be removed. Donald Trump is, give or take, about 200k votes from being sworn in for a second term. And yet, I disagree that this election reflects poorly on America.

A lot of people are voting for him because he advanced their political agenda. I don’t agree with that agenda, and I think the collateral damage of his leadership is most definitely not worth it...

So if we can lose the drunken captain at the wheel, and tje PhatJs of the world can still have a voice in DC without everyone getting covid or depression, so be it.
It's also much deeper than trump though...

Not sure "Trump" is really going away.

So it's good to get rid of the drunken captain, but the fact that it's still possible for the drunken captain to win doesn't reflect poorly.

Oh Trump is 100% not fucking going away and it's pure fantasy to believe otherwise. Barring new developments, you're looking at the presumptive 2024 GOP nominee.

Not sure "Trump" is really going away.

Isnt it better that his ideas be brought into the public square for debate than have them linger at dinner tables and online?

it 100% reflects poorly, but it shouldn't be surprising. it's a shame that once again we have to be reminded that there are a LOT of utterly racist white dudes in this country. people sitting on a message board pointing these things out and asking these types of questions are the minority and certainly not representative of the country as a whole. we all live in our little bubbles, and we not america.

the next time someone says that institutional racism doesn't exist in this country, i've got 63 million reasons to back up that it most certainly does.

He lost white votes and doubled up on minorities, you impossibly brainwashed white liberals.
