Yeah it might be the quality of the version I have but it doesn't sound one iota like Ten era PJ to me. Ed does sustain his notes a bit more like he used to. But overall the main riff sounds nore like The Cult to me. Great song tho.

In reality, the Pearl Jam grunge sound that most people relate to them lasted all of maybe 6 songs...Once through Black. After that and through Vs. it's much more of a classic hard rock sound. WFS is more in the latter vein to my ears.

Thanks, Thurman. Everyone should take time to read this and the RS interview with Watt. We couldn't ask for a better thing to have happened to Pearl Jam.

I can't believe were 4 days away from this. I can't wait for more interviews. I can't wait for that first full listen! I can't wait to read Stip's interpretations of the lyrics.

The closest PJ comparison felt like Infallible (kind of). But again, for me, this is all going off the 30-second clip, so who knows. It's just fun and odd sometimes when you read reviews of an album before hearing it, then you wonder what they were talking about.
