So episode 5 is ‘insane’ apparently and best watched on the biggest screen possible.
This according to Emilia Clarke.
How to top the long night? Let’s see

Pure speculaton, but I can see episode 4 being a buildup. First they have to finish cleaning up Winterfell, burn the dead. Then they plan ahead, and finally start moving south. We also spend a fair amount of time with Cersei. The dragons fly over Kings Landing at least once during the episode. Then in episode 5 you get a major battle. Every known character in Westeros, and their armies involved. Several perish. Cersei dies towards the end of the episode. Finally in episode 6, it all seems calm at the start, peace in our time. But then there's a major twist. Something shocking happens, probably involving Jon and/or Dany.

I really like that. And you’re probably bang on the money.

I think this will be somewhat accurate. It wouldn't surprise me if there was no major battle. Maybe the major forces left all march on King's Landing and lay siege? Dragons roast the Red Keep?

The Night King was coming to bow before Bran.

As he walked towards Bran he sort of started to flex his hand, and for a minute I thought the motivation wasn't to kill Bran but to turn him into a White Walker. I've heard others say they thought he was going to kidnap him. He did eventually reach up for his sword, so this wasn't the case, but would've been a lot more interesting (although way too much for the series to cover in the little time that's left).

The reason he didn't fight him at Hardhome/Frozen Lake/Winterfell is because if he got too close, it would be like Back to the Future 2 and they would both faint.

If Jon Snow had killed the Night King at Hardhome, this would have been a lot easier.

Jons kinda crap. He can’t lead and constantly loses and gets bullied into every position he’s in.
He should be dead many times over and the one time he did die he didn’t even manage to do that right.

I was joking, but I do love Jon. Probably more from the books than the series.

Jon is actually a very competent leader. He makes difficult decisions, trusts his gut when the time comes, defers to others, etc. He just operates in a world where tradition/birthright holds a lot of sway.

His strategic warfare skills leave a lot to be desired however.

I think somethings going to come of Tyrion and Brandon’s conversation.
Hopefully Bran has acted or will act as an all seeing eye to help them plan against Cersei’s forces.
It might have already happened in that chat or in the next one. They need every advantage if they’ve had their own forces decimated. Which looks likely

They do have two dragons too

True but I expect them to get taken out quite quickly in episode 5.
We’d be foolish if we didn’t think that’s top of Cersei’s battle plan
