These guys' scheme of taking back the Republican party is dead on arrival. I don't know if they are delusional or what, but things did not go according to plan at all.

Lurking and judging, anyway. A bit bemused by you guys getting dramatic over early results last night, in an election we were told for weeks would look skewed for the first day and would take time to unravel. But a lot of the last 24 hours has been dealing with some family stuff, courtesy of COVID.

There’ve been a few surprises, but Trump didn’t seem to have the numbers going in to win by vote and none of us ever thought he would accept such an outcome. Well, here we are. Election over, finally starting the actual fight for the presidency.

The senate is pretty disappointing, but a Republican majority was always within range. It’s mostly just a bummer that Mitch will hold it...having a Democratic President and an overwhelmingly conservative Court is his best case scenario, and the next two years are a wash for any meaningful legislation.

I’d say the most likely scenario right now is the same as it was a week ago: a Biden presidency that 1/3 of America believes is illegitimate.
