Lightning Bolt, the song,is winning me over,specially live.

i'm looking forward to getting the la2 bootleg whenever they get to it. i remember turning to my friend after they performed 'lightning bolt' and saying, 'that was incredible'. i'm really hoping it sounds as good on tape as it did that night. if it doesn't, i'm going to be pretty disappointed.

this same friend says of lightning bolt, "it's a springsteen song minus an amazing sax solo." i can't disagree.

Rival already had its emotional climax--its fade is a question of how long you want to linger in the aftermath. LW or L-Bolt haven't peaked, or are in the middle of it, when they fade

Saw it in Buffalo, as well as the performance on Fallon. This song is special live. Eddie pushes himself at the end, to admittedly varying results, but the energy and passion is undeniable IMO.
