ur confusing the bands stance on the gov't w. the bands stance on their own music. they probably told bob not to talk about the songs.

This whole thing would've been easier if you'd just admitted that from the beginning. It's OK.

Yeah, but there's a better way of answering that question:

"Yeah, it's unfortunate that two songs leaked to the public, so out of respect to the band, I'm not going to talk about any music that was illegally downloaded."

Rather than "never heard of it."

Knowing the original post is a joke...
There's a sporting chance he really has no idea what that song is, considering it's apparently an Avocado song and he didn't have anything to do with that album

Nearly all of the effects created by PJ, sonically, are done via bass, two guitars, voice and drums. A band like Beastie Boys will incorporate punk, electronica, hiphop, balladry etc. into one album. The samples borrow from all kinds of musical genres: jazz, blues, synthesized space robots, punk, alternative rock, etc. etc. PJ have generally nitpicked from a few of these sounds and sprinkled them onto a basic rock formula.

But it's just an opinion, man.

Glad that you know that...pretty sure that BoB a pretty big fan of Pearl Jam and if we've heard the songs, then he has, too.

It's a Q&A for fans...at least answer the question. I could do without his snarky remarks and cheesy keys.

He's employed by the same guys who also hired Tim Bierman. There's only so much that can be expected of him.

This is what I'm assuming. He will only really know about the projects he's done. I'm guessing he's far too preoccupied to go hunting for leaked PJ rarities he has nothing to do with.

He's too busy putting recycled tunes on a new record.

Having mastered the finished album doesn't necessarily mean he was there for the prior process.

I really meant being busy in L.A. frontin' at parties with other artists (and doing their albums).
