I probably watched the OT as a kid just as much or more than anyone else here. Those movies WERE my childhood. But that doesn't excuse crappy filmmaking in this entry.

I thought Han said Luke was training students and Kylo was among them but the. Went dark and killed them all but wpprently he doesn't say that, he implies it

I was half expecting Ren to get killed here, so I was pleased to see him make it

My wife thought he was dead at the end. They certainly left it ambiguous. No way they pull a Darth Maul on us!

Don't worry, Ren won't die until the end of 9. And it will be at Rey's hands.
