honestly, as intriguing as this development is, i'm kinda bummed that baby yodas look like old yodas. i always thought it was cool to think that maybe yoda was a more strapping species - or even human looking dude - who just lived for 800 more years than he should due to force powers, and ended up shrunken, hairy, and green. like if we all lived that long, we'd look like yoda and be as cool.

This tweet is important. I’m gonna take a stab and say she’s filmed a scene either with Hamill as Luke or something like it handing the baby over.
Favreau MUST have something planned cos they’ve just put an adorable little time bomb into the canon.
Unless, baby’s the doorway into a new trilogy.
You can’t have a force sensitive yoda baby now in the canon and just ignore it. And you can’t kill it.
