Dime you gotta spoiler that shit

Reading just about anything in this subforum puts you at risk of BotW spoilers. It's a fantastic game and people are going to talk about it.

Yeah but I have all the other stuff to do first.

I forget what the deal is inside this beast but I remember hating the whole thing outside with the seals to get inside. That parts a pain.

I stumbled across a hack for this. It ended up being the first Divine Beast that I played against, when I think it is intended to be the fourth (hardest). So that sucked because I was still getting familiar with the controls.

Anyway I accidentally crashed the seal into something and it stopped, and I could just stand there in the little protective bubble. So the camel walks around in circles and you just shoot his feet on each pass. So much easier that trying to shoot on the move.

Oh and the puzzle inside? Fuck that I had to google the next step a couple times.

I don't think that gets rid of all the sand storms. IIRC correctly you turn off the one to the south of the town when you get the shrine at the fairy fountain, and the one northwest of the town gets shut off when you find the shrine that the sword statue ladies point to.

This sounds about as legit as the treasure under the volcano

I been taking breaks and just dedicating sessions to just exploring areas I haven’t been. Then I read the hero’s path thing which shows You where you’ve been runs out at 200 hours and I’m freaking out so I’m trying to map out where I first was and hit those areas for seeds.
Prick wants 45 for a weapons stash. Bastard. I can’t get over that. I’m sure it wasn’t that much last time. Ah well.

I found the ancient horse gear. It’s meant to bring your horse to you wherever you are.
It really doesn’t.

Also found the giant horse. No fuckin around with him he’s awesome. Might try use him against a lynel. I’m still all over the place trying to defeat those and usually just run away from them.

My Lynel strategy is to rely on stasis, urbosa's fury, and strong two handed weapons.

Basically I freeze him with stasis and hit him with my weapon once. When the stasis breaks he's still stunned for a moment because of the hit and I use that time to just go nuts with a charged attack with a two handed weapon. I keep that charged attack up until I either run out of stamina or it looks like the Lynel is about to hit me, in which case I let go and let urbosa's fury stun him again.

If I want to challenge myself more I'll use the strongest one handed weapon I have and use perfect parry to get an attack opening.

Also, I generally keep Urbosa's Fury turned off unless I'm fighting a Lynel. I hate accidentally unleashing it when I'm using a one handed weapon charge attack to cut down grass and farm high tail lizards and the such.

One time I was in the coliseum and that lynel in the center somehow got caught in a corner and couldn't get out. Instead of just killing it with a weapon I stood on a ledge above and dropped bombs to see how many it would take. I just remember it being a lot more than 30. It was all really weird because it wasn't even really a corner he got stuck in, just a wall and some rubble. Weird glitch I guess
