Outstanding. Looks like you left plenty of room for airflow too. Still debating whether I'm going vertical with mine or not. Christ the console really is huge
I have the Masters on too, gotta admit I'm digging this in November even though the course doesn't look nearly as good for obvious reasons

Damn man I'm sorry, that really blows. I picked up Miles Morales and Demon's Souls yesterday, just waiting on the console now. Demon's Souls is getting glowing reviews so far, but I'm pretty sure I'm really going to suck at it given all the difficulty detail

Thanks for condolences. Really sucks. With any Souls game it just takes practice. You will die a lot but that’s part of the fun.

Holy fuck that PS5 is comically large.
Ok help me understand this. Technology keeps getting smaller, so why is that thing so huge? I mean compared to the Switch for example which is tiny has a screen built in. What’s the difference that it has to be like 50x bigger?

I think it has to do with opting for cooling and low noise over size

They're really just PC towers with fancier plastic shells now.

Agree that it is borderline ridiculously/comically large, but I can attest to the fact that it does run super quiet and cool. Haven't played any games on it yet, but just about every app on it is lightning quick. Netflix, for example, opens and runs SO much faster compared to PS4 pro, and I'm using wifi. I'd love to see speeds if I were to hard wire this curvy bitch.
I should note that I did experience one freeze last night after downloading/copying Spider Man from the game disc. It corrected itself after running through a few 'rebuild database' prompts. Also finding that it's not recognizing nearly all the PS4 games I have on my supposedly compatible 'built for Playstation' Seagate HDD. Seems this is a pretty widespread issue at the moment after scouring the net; I'm hoping updated system software can correct this in the not so distant future.
Overall though loving it so far. Hoping to fire up a game today at some point.

Bunch of people on reddit ordered PS5 digital editions direct from Sony and received the disc edition instead (but in digital boxes).

Did you go horizontal or vertical?

Spider-Man crashed a few times on me, but that was before I downloaded the update. A bit disappointing nonetheless.

Horizontal for now, but I'm waiting for a new entertainment stand to be delivered which could accommodate the vertical position. It would look much cooler vertically with the light display just not sure I need it grabbing that much attention in my living room. First world problems baby. I'll post a pic once I get my shit together

Apparently my package must still be in PA or it's lost. No tracking updates since 3 AM Saturday: "We've incorrectly sorted this package which may cause a delay." And there's no information available as to when it might be delivered. You would think there would be some update since then. All UPS customer service can tell me is hang in there and keep checking for updates. Ridiculous. They can't even tell me what state it's in!

Damn! I'm sorry tree. Sending good vibes your way that it will show up and miraculously be close.

Thanks buddy. It's just so frustrating to not even know the vicinity. I'm worried it must be lost or stolen and they're buying time to investigate/report loss. Why else couldn't they at least tell me what state it is in?

MD we used to have that exact same TV console. Gave it away when it started to sag in the middle.
