I like this idea but it has a couple of problems.

1. Which of the three finalists in the winner's bracket faces the loser? Will that matchup be considered lopsided since a winner is facing a loser in the semi-finals, or will a loser who was narrowly defeated claw their way back and be worthy of competing?

2. To decide the champion of the losers bracket, you face the same three team final problem that the winner's bracket faces. Just fyi

This is a decision point and I am the decider.

We do two 24 hour rounds of voting to narrow the field of twelve down to three. Matchups will be randomized.

From there, we have a 24 hour round where we vote one of the three OFF the island.

Then the final two teams go head to head for the ULTIMATE STONE TEMPLE PILOT SIX SONG SET.

This all begins tomorrow morning at 11pm CDT.

He clearly misunderstood my suggestion. The 6 winners of the first round would wait for the top 2 vote getters of the losers group to be determined.

So, the second round would have 8 teams. Randomize the matches and go from there.

Oh well.

We will not be doing it that way. It's just too complicated.

I’m torn between the lulz of continuing this charade of playing up to the part durden predicted on page one or seeing this tournament through to its fair and straightforward conclusion and keeping all of the earnest and well crafted teams happy in galoshes.
