I only heard a couple of questions last night, but Mike Pence won the night for me.
LGBT individuals are __ X more likely to be the victims of hate crime violence. How would you protect them?
Pence: I would protect everyone's civil rights. Also, I am going to institute a national ban on all chemical and surgical gender transitioning.
He meant "in children," but he didn't say it, so it was an awesome "fuck you" to every trans person in the country.
And even if he had said "in children," it was the worst pivot in the history of politics.

Ooooh, Tim Scott saying that Black people survived slavery, but didn't survive the creation of welfare is a pretty good one.
I suspect mortality among the Black population from 1619-1863 was a bit higher than Tim Scott thinks.

I didn't come prepared to debate the semantic differences between "22 charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor" and pedophilia, so ... touché, I guess.
