Jfc these announcers are talking about Drake Maye like he’s the second coming

the commentators have a very direct interest in hyping potential NFL stars

more narrative, more viewers, more sponsor money for commercials on the network, more money for everyone, including the announcers

they will take what they can get this year given all the injuries and flops

that said, NE's record is impressive

Tom Brady is pretty good as a commentator. I hope FOX pairs him with a better announcer asap.

I learn something from Brady each time I watch a game he’s on. Today it was the double y blocking scheme.
The announcer with him is a less entertaining but equally inaccurate version of Kevin Harlan.

It does not exist here. We’re hosting a feast Saturday, a little early but what worked with everyone’s schedules.

I guess I’ll reserve further judgement until the receiving corp is healthier, but if the offense can’t get going then, I’d put La Fleur on the very warm seat. I don’t think he’s getting the most out of Jordan Love, for starters.
