I'm pretty happy with what we'll get.

If anything, I would've picked monkey wrench's version of Wishlist.
It was cleaned up recently, and that hard stop sounds way better than the fadeout.

I pulled the PJ20 book off the shelf last night, and in the 1998 section of the book, the release date for LO2L has a blurb from Jack Irons. Something to the extent that they wanted to release some of the Australian shows, but settled on a comp of the NA legs.

They're just sitting on some of these.

I wish I was a Marvel film
in which the hero lost
I wish I was a football field
all bathed in morning frost

I wish I was the Eiffel Tower
but painted blue and pink
I wish I didn't have to try
so hard to make you think

just got an email about the Yield reissue...
Message from Vinyl Me, Please regarding
Yield 25th Anniversary Edition

We are writing to provide you with a status update regarding your purchase of Pearl Jam Yield.

First and foremost, we want to express our sincere apologies for the unforeseen challenges we have encountered in the production process. Our original plan was to make this title the inaugural pressing at our newly-built facility in Denver, CO. However, we have faced unexpected construction and permit delays that have continued to stretch the original timeline. We understand that these delays are unacceptable and we take full responsibility for the inconvenience they have caused you.

To address this situation, we have shifted the record production to Furnace Record Pressing. We are confident that Furnace maintains the same high standards of quality that you rightfully expect from Vinyl Me, Please.

The new estimated ship date is now set for 10/13. We are doing everything in our power to expedite the process, and if we receive the records earlier, we will ship them to you immediately.

Once again, we offer our deepest apologies. We value your patronage and are committed to making things right. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us and let us know how we can rectify this situation to your satisfaction.

Cam Schaefer CEO, VMP

Companies are always sorry when they fuck up but they're never sorry enough to discount your product to make up for the inconvenience.

I know people who bought this specifically because it would be at the VMP plant, so bummed for them. I don't know enough about vinyl to feel strongly about it.

Two months is ultimately not a big deal to me, but it sucks that they waited until essentially the original ship date to tell us. They didn't just learn about construction and permit delays on the building this week.
