I feel like my god is the sun should close the album. seems like the only place that song could work on this. the track order is pretty shit on this thing

Zeb is basically incapable of calling a foul on Qotsa, but the order of songs could do with some work.

I can't think of a better way to close the album than the Title Track.

The album suffers from compression. It most definitely does not suffer from poor sequencing.

I'm not feeling particularly compelled to return to it.
Save for a few rare exceptions, Josh's muse and my tastes appear to have more or less permanently diverged after the early 2000s.

I'm still listening to it every day pretty much.

I enjoyed it enough, but it didn't live up to the hype for me. I thought I Appear Missing was going to floor me based on what the leak crowd was joygasming about. Turns out its just a pretty good song....
I'm going to file this with King Animal under: 'albums i've had one night stands or flings with'

Well if you don't want to have a long-term relationship with this OR King Animal there's really no saving you.

You're going to die alone if you keep passing up partners like those two.

Same. I'd only rate myself a casual fan of QOTSA but I'm really into this.

This. My only complaint is the lack of dynamic range. The track sequencing is perfectly fine.

Does that mean it outnumbers your real-life one night stands? You do spend time on an Internet forum after all.

I've always been a fan of the band but never really digested all of the albums. I've decided to do that over the next few weeks. I'll report back with my album ratings.
