The only songs I don't like are 'The Crying Tree of Mercury' and 'Heavy Metal Machine'. They're not bad, they just set the album back somewhat. Without those two, and possibly subbing in songs from Machina II like 'Slow Dawn', 'Speed Kills', 'Dross' or 'Saturnine' it'd be 4-4.5 star album for me.

Machina I and II are both terrible.

Band hasn't been good for 20 years.

They play their first "reunion" show tonight. Hopefully there's some songs that don't suck like Silverfuck or Thru The Eyes of Ruby in the setlist.

I remember really liking Machina, I haven't listened to it in a while though.

Billy is too in love with dungeons and dragons sounding names for his songs and albums.

Pretty much everything about this “reunion” has been somewhere between regrettable and horrible so far, but this setlist looks pretty OK:

Have any of you guys listened to the Your Favorite Band Sucks podcast episode about Smashing Pumpkins? I haven't had a chance yet. But I feel like it has the potential to be pretty funny in the right way.
