Apparently, the reason the audio kept cutting in and out during Reigns' interviews last night was they were cutting the audio while they fed him his next lines. Pathetic, the guy can't even get through a promo without tricks like this. Why don't they give him a mouthpiece?

Yeah, they have to do this match. If they change it for the second year in a row because of crowd reaction, the Royal Rumble is rendered meaningless in the future. I don't think anyone's saying Reigns sucks, or won't be a top guy one day, but he's not ready for the spotlight yet. His mic skills are brutal, and his in ring work leaves a lot to be desired. I was thinking about it, and the last guy to main event mania with as little in ring singles match experience as Reigns? Lawrence Taylor.

Mr. T in Wrestlemania 1 is the only guy I can think of besides LT.

The segment last night wasn't bad but I did not hear people were feeding Reigns his lines. Yikes that is a bad sign. I like what Heyman said about making this a respect thing. Brock sold it well saying he doesn't respect him.

If they keep this main event in tact (like don't add anyone making it a triple threat) I bet Brock retains and begrudgingly shakes the hands of Reigns. Then as Reigns is heading back to the back Rollins cashes in to end Mania. Reigns could then turn heel the next night saying he doesn't need Brock's respect because he earned it himself and that he has earned everything himself. Which will get boos by the night after Mania crowd. Which will turn Reigns heel. He can align himself with Heyman...the mouth piece he needs. Come out in suits like the pic below. I just don't see them putting the strap on Reigns this early. Especially now that he is not as over as he was pre injury. He was getting great pops last summer.

They don't need a storyline to turn Reigns heel, the crowd already hates him. Like Batista last year, he could just start acting like one.

If they do that now I'm fine with that but they would have to add a face to the main event. Either Bryan or Dolph (by winning something....maybe the first match of Mania) cuz they can't have two heels in the main event against each other at Mania.

Brock can easily turned into enough of a tweeter that he would be the face.

I loathe Brock as a face. He is just terrible at it. Which is fine nothing against him really. He is easy enough to like though. Just a shitty situation. Nice booking, idiots.

I kinda like that idea. Reigns with Heyman is a great fit. They kind of set it up last night with all the ass kissing last night.

Why could Rollins have not just cashed in and Bryan won the rumble? Give them a half hour in a title match at Mania and you get a 5 star classic.

That would make too much sense

I guess vince likes the big guys n he figures brock has the big name that would sell ppvs to casual fans..

Which could kinda be bullshit bec Daniel Bryan and his yes chant are huge all over at sports events n such

In WWE's defense, Bryan's popularity has not changed the bottom line for them at all, really. The events hes headlined have not done well, and his merch sales are nothing to write home about. I understand that their inept usage of his talents is a major cause of both of those things, but he hasnt moved the needle like Punk did when he was red hot, let alone like Cena does.

With that said, Brock-Bryan would have been a fantastic match, and it was a story that basically wrote itself. Not cashing in on that opportunity, which wont present itself again, was very foolish. They've basically backed themselves into a corner where they either continue on the path they are on, with Reigns as the good guy getting booed out of arenas, or they turn Reigns heel. They cant just shit on the result of the Royal Rumble for the 2nd year in a row without making it seem like the Rumble means nothing in the future. I do think Reigns is FAR better suited to being a heel though, so maybe they will accidentally book themselves into something that works like they did last year.

I hope Brock can get resigned because I wanna see Brock/Bryan down the road. Maybe Summerslam. Which is in NYC so they will wanna go big time.

God I hope we get Bryan/Dolph at Mania and they get 25 minutes.

Or something like that.

HHH has a "big announcement" tonight. A pic was instagramed I guess of Ambrose. Maybe he gets added to the main event. One can hope.

Ambrose gets added, Rollins gets pissed and decides to cash in for WM, making it a fatal 4-way?
