Spent most of the morning dealing with HOA bullshit. The new fire escape footers poured yesterday are cutting into the already established sidewalks, which is not what we were presented. Got out the plans and the tape measure, spoke to the head construction man, sounds like an issue at the early rendering stage, when I wasn’t even on the board. Not sure much can be done at this point, but fired off an email to the architect anyway. Had a 30 minute call with our lawyer regarding a problem owner mixed in there too.

Our lawyer seemed to signal he gets a kick out of self managed associations and how intimate it can all be.

lol i really don't. today was supposed to be getting taxes organized and filed, along with some other odd jobs.

btw wild storms tonight as predicted. the builders left giant holes in out external walls after the demo last week, which have yet to be sealed by a mason, so i asked them to cover them with something today to prevent any leaking into internal units, but of course they covered like two of the six or seven holes and now i'm receiving reports of leaks into units. so close guys! this is going to cost you.

Got the money I loaned out back, in the form of a fat wad of hundred dollar bills, because my bank won't accept checks or deposits from my stepdad. Now I'm walking around with a load of cash like I'm some kind of drug dealer. I should hit the strip club and make it rain.
