Lament wrote:I'm a fan. I like how simultaneously abrasive yet subtly melodic it is and how heavy it is without feeling lumbering. The performances are engaging enough in the moments where the songwriting recedes a bit, so the album holds strong pretty much all the way through for me. It's my least favorite Nirvana album, but an album I enjoy nonetheless.

While I enjoy Sirens as a guilty pleasure, I really can't fault anyone for slamming it either.

Anyways, I overheard Getaway like ten minutes ago and thought "Oh, they're playing Getaway on whatever assrock station she listens to. That's cute." But then Mind Your Manners came on. And now My Father's Son is on. I wonder if I can pack my stuff back up and be gone before Sirens starts...
Some people like guacamole (disgusting), some people like oranges (delicious), and some people like both.

Lightning Bolt's pretty good anyway.

I think this is my feeling on it as well to be honest. I'm fine with it, and I really feel the emotional impact of the lyrics, but I can't help feeling a little uneasy with its adult contemporary feel.

Maybe Lament has put a wig on, smeared some filth around the place and is slowly losing his mind.
