doing paperwork for my sister while prostrate. back's out. been in pt for nearing three months. my psoas is so tight it showed up on an xray of my back. anyway, trying to schedule an mri. thinking of the duke of aquitaine, who though indefatigable in his roguishness, eventually developed "world-fatigue". afraid I'm ahead of him on that score.

regale me with detail, 'whack

an apposite excerpt for the thread & my person.

pain or damage don't end the world. or despair, or fucking beatings. the world ends when you're dead. until then, you've got more punishment in store. stand it like a man, and give some back.

Speaking of more punishment, I’ve picked up season one of Yellowstone again, since both my BIL’s are obsessed. It’s such a chore.

Decided to watch that live action Cowboy Bebop just to see how bad it was. Jet and Spike and the setting are pretty good, but they made some pretty terrible decisions.

No Edward is pretty unforgivable.

It has remarkably bad action. Weird that the anime has more realistic fight choreography than this.

Surprised that it stuck to the original as much as it did, though.

The opening credits are cool

It's better than having to get stuck in the dryer every other day.

Goddamn Fleishman is so good.

I'm blown away by the chemistry between Lizzy and Jesse and Adam. It's genuinely like they've been really great friends for decades. Maybe they have been? Maybe it's just because they all started when they were so young?

But Lizzy was the MVP tonight. Her monologue in this ep was just... just fucking perfection. She's amazing. This whole cast is amazing.
