Enimmi finally some proper impressions! Great job.

Did Yellow moon have any guitar solos?

Really? It's rather obtuse.
Yeah, that's like a different question altogether. But I don't know. I'm not putting the Bolt on my avatar, or getting my tattoo, until I've had some time with the album.

my thought process was such:

he complained about his avatar
we've been talking about song reviews for the new album
specifically which ones we're excited for or not so much

Well done, Enimmi!

Album is roughly 45 minutes. That sounds pretty good to me.

I'm loving everything I'm hearing so far. Some deep dark songs like Infallible, Pendulum and Yellow Moon. Getaway could be awesome. Father's Son sounds interesting.

My only thing is that this album seems pretty mellow. Only 2 hard rock songs. One more would have been perfect. Oh well .

Who knows how it turns out but I'm certainly happy/intrigued that a lot of the songs are being described as slower and with layers. Layers bro.

I was not expecting to be left with the feeling that Lightning Bolt sounds the least interesting. Hopefully because it's a better *song* than Unthought Known, structurally, the piano will be more forgiveable. All the piano does in UK is basically signal the point of the song where it's got nothing left. At least LB has a proper (quite cool) crescendo at the end.

Worst case scenario for me would've been them all saying that LB was a true highlight. They all seem "meh" on that, so if that's one of the lesser songs, I'm more optimistic.

it's 4:30 though, so if there is a fadeout sounds like it'll be minor

I like that so many of these songs seem to end with outros

Why can no one figure out my father's son?

I wonder what Kevin Davis makes of all this.

Yeah. Live, the actual song (with lyrics) is around 3 minutes, and there's a 2 minute outro. So if that's cut down, we might still have some jamming at the end.

Yeah. Is it because it's unremarkable, or too weird? I hope someone comes out with a good review of it soon.

Still a bit nervous about Sirens, but I'm also fascinated by its placement on the album.

So, according to enimmi's recordings, we're looking at ~46 minutes? little better there.

Good take. Let's hope so.

I'm very happy Getaway ends with a shredding solo.
