Apparently 7 AM at the grocery store on a Saturday is divorce guy central. I ran in to get some breakfast stuff before the family woke up, and it was all guys 40-50...all dressed like there were no women in their lives, all looking like life is real shitty.

Sirens came on over the intercom, and like three lonely bastards standing in the chip aisle were nodding their heads to it. So that was a sight.

I hadn't heard it in a good while. It's still a blah song. The radio cut was positively neutering of whatever mild charm it once had, too.

If your story would have ended with the divorced guys crying together in a "Feelings Circle" right there on the floor of the chips aisle, I was gonna be prepared to change my mind about Sirens being terrible.

The head-bob is the feelings circle of 2014.

I hope one of the dudes reached over and touched one of the other dude's hands when it got to the first chorus as they both just stared forward blankly at the chips.

The store sold a record number of bear claws today.

How I Met Your Mother has a laugh track, and it's a great show.
