What bothers me most about those photos is his brand spanking new hiking boots someone got him for the big photo shoot!

I think people are reaching a bit far with that Trump tweet when they conclude that he's suggesting Gillebrand offered him sex for campaign money. That's not how I read it at all.

I don't like to suggest he was trying to be clever, but that alternative interpretation was the intent.

I feel like on Twitter and in the media, we've done this hundreds of times since the start of the campaign; thinking, "no, he couldn't have meant that." He meant the sleazy, scummy thing; that's never a bad bet to take.

Ugh, just think about the different ways he attacked the other Republicans in the primaries and realize that yes, he's that small-minded.

I mean it was my immediate reaction. Maybe that says something about me, idk, but I don’t have any reason to think that wasn’t exactly what he meant.

We doing the corporate tax cut stuff in this thread? House and Senate compromise to keep the mortgage deduction up to $750k.

Oh well.

They really are going to take the worst parts of each proposal and end up with a truly awful bill.
