I agree with this if we're talking "on paper." It's the best script iteration of Solo, for sure.

I always wondered what happened to Ford that turned him so dour in the nineties. His ability to play Han Solo and Indiana Jones is long gone.

I’m sorry but viewing two made me love it even more.

So, bye RM.

It’s a strange thing in that rian Johnson easily made the best of the new trilogy - but they maybe should have just stuck with JJ for all three to make sure there was stronger continuity.

The quality in dialogue and the film shots, Johnson was supreme in every aspect. But yeah, Disney should of stuck with on director and maybe given the same 3 year gap in between movies that the prequels had.

I’ve sort of gotten used to it, but I’m still baffled at how popular TLJ is on RM. I wonder why that movie is more popular here than elsewhere.

It has some beautiful cinematography, but the rest...

The Finn one is pretty big, they probably should have done that differently.

Yeah, I really don't understand the whole "Finn's secret" thing. Like I get implicit vs explicit storytelling and keeping things open. But this one just didn't work and should definitely have been handled differently.

A few of those other questions in that link are pretty explicit in the movie, though. Either the author is trying to be funny/ironic or they didn't care for the movie enough to pay attention.

Director Jon Chu Tweeted out his interest in bringing a Rose Tico series to Disney +. I'm 100% in favor of this. But what I really found interesting was a comment on that tweet that reminded about how excited Kelly Marie Tran was her scenes with Rey after watching the cast screening (prior to the official release).

I know JJ has always said he doesn't believe in Director's Cuts. But I hope we get to see these scenes on the Blu Ray release. I'd be very curious to see what they're like.
