I sure hope not, I barely even watch the NFL anymore. Baseball is 3 outs, 3 strikes, 4 balls, 9 innings, 90 feet, 60 feet 6 inches, 90 degrees of fair territory...
you really wanna speed the game up, put the bullpens under the stands, you want a new pitcher, call time and send him in. No mound visit, no relief pitchers slow jog in from the outfield, no going over whos coming up with the catcher (the pitching coach can tell him that as he leaves the dug out)
I wouldnt touch anything else. No time clocks, no player substitution limits per inning, none of the other ideas floating around out there.
