What are you currently watching on TV?

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I still drink twice a week. Half a fifth of whiskey, normally for when I play due to my nerves. Have my medical card, and I’ve switched to sugar free about 3 months ago. Sugar was harder to quit than heroin. I guess believing in yourself can make one do things they never thought before. 2 and a half years no opiates and a year and a half no speed!

Saw two first eps;

Shrinking with Jason Segal; really horrible. Bad comedic timing, awful lighting , super obvious and cheesy moments. The only good stuff comes from Harrison Ford, and he is very underused.

Poker Face; looks awesome and has a great vibe. I’m kinda sad that Lyonne is starring here. I don’t quite get her character and seems Johnson is making another Benoit Blanc.

On the fence with the latter; but I’ll saw two more at least.

at least in the first ep is kinda of a intrigue show on a casino in Las Vegas, and the main character has some kind of power that allows her to tell if people is lying or not.

I think I’m probably done with Poker Face after 1 episode, I downloaded the next 3, but at no time over the past 3 days have I said to myself, “Wow, I really want to watch the next episode!”

Watched the first Cunk on Earth. Very funny.

I was expecting it to be another self-loathing British show or one of those shitty Daily Show ripoffs that form so many RMer personalities, but it seems like it was concerned with actually being funny instead of preachy. Good job.
