Wasn’t TLOU2 supposed to have its own multiplayer? Making it a separate game you have to pay for seems icky.

New word is God of War was delayed until November and things are still fluid so that’s subject to change as well.

I think it became a much bigger game/mode than imagined.

Anyone upgrading their PS Plus subscription? I think the new tiers are available on Monday...

I already own a lot of the included games announced for the Premium tier that are of interest to me. More interested in what they add in the future.

Yeah that's where I'm at. I was more interested to see what older PS, PS2, etc games they would offer and not much there that interests me yet.

Yeah, I am trying to temper my expectations vis a vis a cinematic trailer (even though they called it gameplay) vs what it'll actually look like on Day 1, but this is basically everything I wanted and more (i.e., Fallout in space). It's the reason I got an Xbox, so bring it on.

That's not saying much this year with both Nintendo and Sony sitting it out so far (State of Play was mostly third party stuff).

In terms of big games, 2022 looks quiet for Xbox but there were smaller games I liked. High on Life gave me Sunset Overdrive vibes, and that is one of my favorite games. Pentiment will be my jam.

And we finally get Persona. Diablo looked cool.

Where the heck was Goldeneye?

The next 12 months should be solid. I, too, am looking forward to Pentiment.

Ah so Diable isn’t gamepass. Was a little confused bt that. Looked cool.

2023 is likely to be stacked for all consoles.

Apparently Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is the same producer as Bloodborne.

Hasn't that studio had a bunch of staff turnover/turmoil?

Prior to the showcase, Microsoft announced that Perfect Dark and Fable would not be featured. I'm guessing both are 2024 releases at the earliest.
