It's funny.When S/T came out, I had to buy it from Asda. Backspacer wasn't carried by a single shop in my town, had to order it off the net.

I like Yellow Moon, Swallowed Whole and Pendulum, but the rest is absolutely dismal.

It probably helps that I have a shit memory. Clean slate; I'm currently trying to just let people have their own opinions, even when they're wrong, as you were in your review.

This might be the worst song in their catalog. Even without the piano intro & outro it's still garbage and really kills the 2nd half of the record.

Yup. You're part of a rare breed: those that believe the late-record hype. (Only joking, sort of.) I haven't totally jumped ship on Backspacer. I heard ATW earlier and still liked it, but in a very different way to LB.

Also, reading and talking about politics, inequality, corporate power, and alienation all day makes me less likely to get too judgmental about the business decisions of a band's fan club

Also, this is a pretty great little record. Still wish fd wasn't on it though
