Tie game in the NYG/DAL game, should be a good last 4 minutes or so

His contract is fully guaranteed, so that's an easy over.
disagree. contract is fixed, making his marginal contribution (7 carries today for 15 yards...just lol) negative. and besides, the contract is a sunk cost. indy will have to decide whether activating a back with a 2.8 YPC who doesn't contribute on special teams is worth foregoing whatever the 46th-53rd player on the roster can contribute.

in any given game, he's never not the fifth or sixth best back on the field.

Wow, Dungy and Harrison just showed how massive of a fail the Chiefs defense had on that game-deciding play. All the corners played tight coverage at the line of scrimmage despite the fact that the Chargers needed a quick TD down the field to win. For Rivers it was like taking candy from a baby--he could have easily hit any of three receivers on that play.

looks like the afc is basically a field of two at this point

It is an excuse, but i doubt there is a chance he won't start training camp as the feature back, though he can definitely lose the job if he looks terrible in training camp, i just think he will be good

Oh, are we talking active games? Then all bets are off. But exactly because the contract is a sunk cost, they'll keep him on the roster for the next two seasons even if he's running the scout team the whole time.

One thing that annoys me about Richardson's struggles right now is that it's giving the "RBs are permanently devalued and no one should ever use a first round pick on them" crew too much fuel for the fire.

Economic analyses suggest that one Trent Richardson could very well come available.

This was some high quality trolling here. Very well done.
