No, but the only way it would ever be confirmed is when some dies then they don't turn. I'm not sure I would see the point.
Or it could be confirmed by someone getting bit and not turning...

the zombie thing is caused by a pathogen everyone already has, so you can't really be immune, you just can't die. the infection caused by a nasty zombie bite or scratch is what actually kills...
No, no one is immune. In an interview with Kirkman (I cannot find a current link to the interview, but it is cited in multiple places), he established that:

The rule is: WHATEVER it is that causes the zombies, is something everyone already has. If you stub your toe, get an infection and die, you turn into a zombie, UNLESS your brain is damaged. If someone shoots you in the head and you die, you’re dead. A zombie bite kills you because of infection, or blood loss, not because of the zombie “virus.”
Note that it probably isn't Walker blood or bites that kill people. Instead, it seems likely that death is caused by secondary infection. In fact, there was a blog on scientificamerica.com that did a good job of discussing this.

So everyone has the pathogen that causes them to rise as Walkers upon death, and the risk of fatality-by-bite or fatality-by-scratch is most likely caused by a multitude of secondary infections caused by the many pathogens festering in the mouths and under the finger nails of Walkers. This means that an immunity to the Walker pathogen would go completely unnoticed until the time of death (and we haven't seen this happen yet), and also that no one would be immune to death from the "splattering", since that would require immunity to a host of different things simultaneously.

so rick may need to lop off his hand so the injury doesn't fester and kill him; it doesn't matter that zombie blood got into the wound.

Assuming Glenn is dead (I believe in the mighty ass-pull survival) would that be the first time no one witnessed the death of a character? We would have to do deal with a lot of "MAYBE HE WILL COME BACK" from Maggie if that's the case. He's being eaten by like 100 walkers right now so there probably won't be much left for a Walker-Glenn to be seen by someone.

If they make Rick getting zombie blood on him a problem when they are constantly covered in zombie blood and we are supposed to believe it never got in some little cut or orifice before I will jump off a cliff.

If Season 7 is
Spoiler: show
The War, then the conclusion of that is a good place to end the series.

But I don't think they are really even getting into the N*gan storyline that much if at all this season, right?

Right, but 16 episodes would be enough.
Spoiler: show
The Kingdom may not even be introduced which may simplify things too.

And next week's looks to be "meanwhile back at Alexandria", in which case it will be another week before we find out for sure what happened to Glenn.
I don't think last night was a bad stand alone episode but it was a letdown after three great ones.

I actually really liked last night's a lot. We've seen so much time spent in this series of people becoming feral, whereas last night showed us the opposite.

You know I thought it was a bite at first but when he said he thought there might be some medicine I was thinking maybe it was just a bad cut. Figure even crazy people know there is no medicine for bites.
