Yeah.....Wonder is rightKaius wrote:But... "When in doubt, vote Stevie Wonder"durdencommatyler wrote:Bugs - This one is a number to number tie. But again, Us and Them takes it.
Given the details of the 70s tourney, I'm abstaining from voting in Numbers v d,t
Stip - This is another number to number tie. But Stip has Tangled Up in Blue and Martha.
DeLima - When in doubt, vote Stevie Wonder. Also, Working Class Hero is pretty great. Those two won this match.
?!?

REAL TALK: I specifically did NOT pick an Eagles song because I knew it would jeopardize the Chud vote.Kaius wrote:You're wrong. One of these nights is a damn good tune.cutuphalfdead wrote:varis - one of the best teams in the tournament

Re: Best Decade Tournament - 70s: Voting: 9-12 (6/28-6/29)
I'm saying it again...I can't say I understand the "tournament" style voting where the presentation/play/action remains static. I mean, the choices aren't changing. And it's for the most part, the same people voting........why can't we be presented with the teams' choices one time and then just rank them?
I do understand the use of the tournament style scoring or tallying where each round is dynamic, for instance, in the song contests. Each round was a new song competing against another new song.
oh wait, maybe there is fun in what we're doing here
again....
never mind

I am pretty confident I could draft a team of chud's 10 favorite 80s songs and not get his vote. I am currently researching what they are to test that theorydurdencommatyler wrote:REAL TALK: I specifically did NOT pick an Eagles song because I knew it would jeopardize the Chud vote.Kaius wrote:You're wrong. Damn it, more ties! (I assume--given my history someone should doublecheck my math)
Bugs over Varis 9-6
Numbers/Dct 7-7
Stip/Kaius 7-7
Delima over Rangi 10-5
Since we have two ties I'm going to leave this open until 9pm est tonight.
