Watching the end of the Reigns/Brock exchange last week it was ok at the end. The whole I dont respect you/ you will thing. But God Reigns is cringe worthy

as much as i might not want to see Brock vs Reigns at mania, i really wonder what the reasoning would be for adding Ambrose to the match. last year they "screwed" Bryan by not letting him enter the Rumble so he wound up getting a chance to get into the title match by fighting HHH for the right to be in it, who he was already basically feuding with for the whole year so it all made sense.

if they just add Ambrose to the match, and he hasnt had any problems that i can think of with Brock or Reigns, so even though it would be more exciting for the fans it makes no sense, and they are risking really killing the idea of the Rumble winning going to Mania.

now if they are gonna try to get Reigns more credibility by making him put up his title shot against a gauntlet of top tier guys then im cool with that, it will just be the Authority again trying to screw someone over, then that makes sense, but just randomly adding anyone wont, even Bryan had his shot in the rumble and lost, so adding him would be dumb....even though i would love it.

I see what you are saying though. I could see Vince getting involved. Saying there needs to be a triple threat with Ambrose/Dolph/Wyatt. Winner gets in the title match. IDK. A lot they can do.

i looked at the instagram post and i don't think it means anything for ambrose, at least specifically. they post photos with various captions and i'm guessing it was just a way to promote the raw bit. daniel bryan has a post up more recent than ambrose and they say something similar. just a way to get people's attention i think. i guess we'll see.

i would like that a lot more then just adding people to the match, though i like the idea of the shield against brock if that ended up happening, i could see them kinda reforming just to take out brock then fight amongst themselves for the title, but it has to be a reason for adding more people to the match then just that the fans dont like the match. HHH kept calling it the controversial ending to the match, maybe they have a way to claim that Reigns isnt the rightful winner, who knows, but im at least interested in Raw tonight

I really don't want that to happen. As much as I hated Reigns winning, I don't want the Royal Rumble to become like Survivor Series.

Yes. I would tweak it away from the Reigns babyface coronation storyline, but yeah I want it to be Lesnar v Reigns in a single match. It's all about preserving the integrity of the Rumble match to me. I have no problem with Rollins cashing in after the match, or anything like that, but I dont want the result of the Rumble to become something meaningless. It's fine to f around with it once in a while, like last year or the year Benoit won, but it cant be every year. If they add someone to this match, or take Reigns out of it, next year it will be irrelevant who wins at the Rumble.

Yeah, that's what makes it so important to me. If they shit on the Rumble, that leaves Mania as the only event that matters. There used to be five: Mania, KOTR, Summerslam, Survivor Series, & Royal Rumble. KOTR doesnt even exist anymore, Survivor Series is like the worst PPV now, and Summerslam is no different than any of the others.

Daniel Bryan vs Seth Rollins should be pretty nice tonight. question is who do they want to have put Reigns over at fastlane

I think they are just buying themselves some time, Reigns could still ME mania. If his crowd reactions improve and he can improve his mic skills a little bit I still think they'll go with him. They are just giving themselves a trap door in case it gets worse(like Batista last year.)

Reigns got some solid pops tonight. They are not in a smarky town like Philly. Had the Rumble been in like Dayton, Ohio this situation would not be happening.

that is true, i was thinking about them making him look good by putting him over top guys on the way to Mania, but i dont know if they can keep him from getting massive heat if he wins at Fastlane, and if their goal is to get him back over with the crowd then you are right, Bryan is the worst choice because they are gonna hate him losing to Reigns. can this mean that they are gonna put Bryan back into the main even of Mania, or are they doing everything they can to make sure Reigns is hated?

right now it makes the most sense to me for the excitement factor and for feuds going forward for Reigns to win at Fastlane, then beat Lesnar and have Rollins cash in and win to close the show, but they are gonna have to do somehting to try and make the crowd ok with Bryan losing, and like my thought for the Rumble, who ever they might want Bryan to feud with should cost him the match, but who could that be?

I will say, Reigns had a good night last night. It looks like they are reverting his character back to more of The Shield Reigns than that ridiculous super hero thing they were doing leading up to the Rumble. If he continues on the path he was on last night, I think the Reigns-Lesnar match is salvageable.
