I should have been more clear - I know who it might be but everyone I was watching the movie with looked at me and said, "Who the fuck is that." Not even a question, really. And how am I supposed to explain all that shit?

Though to be fair the first time Dark...er...Thanos was on screen everyone but the comic geeks had the same reaction.

I think this whole "DC wants you to have knowledge of the comics" thing is nonsense, considering I know absolutely nothing about the comics and had no problem understanding and loving BVS. DC is the company that HAS BEEN making movies so far. Marvel, on the other hand, has just been pushing serialized, artless product.
