That is quite cinematic and sweeping.

Gotta say for a 70 year old...his voice sounds quite wonderful!

The verses are hit or miss, but that chorus is grand.

Another that I am not feeling. It doesn't have the simple ease of Girls In Their Summer Clothes although I'm sure that song was the template/inspiration for this whole album.

I feel this album may be a miss with me.

I just saw it. It’s fantastic. All about a crushed Pakistani kid living in bleak 80s England who discovers Bruce.
It’s feel good and heartbreaking. Then feel good again.
And Bruce is 100% behind it’s release. His music is all over it.

Can’t confirm but pretty sure Bruce wrote a new song for this over the end credits.
And it’s a doozy.

Listened to 2012 Apollo again this morning. I love this show as it's one of the first with the new guys after Clarence died. The horn section and back up singers are a new 'tool' for Bruce to utilize and as is discovering their use, they are finding their feet. It gives a spontaneity to the performance. Add in a few flubs and it feels like it could have been a Jersey Shore gig from the early 70s.

And the Wrecking Ball tracks sound good. More than half the album is here. This was a great way to kick off the tour.

LMS, thank you so much for these uploads. Its been super fun digging into these Brucelegs. I am not a causal fan by any means but i never went into the live bootlegs.

Man alive, that LA 85 show....I can't believe Bruce can still sing as good as he does. I didnt realize just how much he pushed himself to the edge. Shit, even through the 07-17 run he is still putting it all out there.

What a fucking band. They can really do anything.

Also, i love Bruce as a guitar player/lead player. His tone is absolutely perfect.

That Apollo show and subsequent tour (for WBall) really highlight the junction he was at after losing Clarence. The way My City Of Ruins was played (and later Tenth Ave) gives a picture of the E Street Band and their progression which is completely separate (or at least shows the E Street Band has a life of their own), separate to the BS studio recording catalogue. The studio output and the live output are different beasts.

Dylan is another that the live story is different as chronicled by Paul Williams so often.

PLACES BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FOOLED AROUND WITH YOUR DAUGHTER
by AMANDA HALE
On the boardwalk way past dark

Behind the walls where heat lightning falls

Beneath the waves at twenty-thousand leagues

Where the distant oceans sing, and rise to the plain

From the coastline to the city

A pretty little place in Southern California, down San Diego way

A place where the dancing’s free

Way down beneath the neon lights

Laying in a field on a summer’s day

Out where the river runs

High in the green hills on the outskirts of town

Over mountains draped in stars

Hiding on the backstreets

In the darkness on the edge of town

Where the caravan camels roam

On a rattlesnake speedway in the Utah desert

Out by the gas fires of the refinery

Past the salvage yard ‘cross the train tracks

On a deserted stretch of a county two-lane

That dusty road from Monroe to Angeline

In her pink Cadillac
lol.

Ill add: By the campfire light, waiting on the ghost of tom joad.

Not sure how I feel about this one yet. Hello Sunshine is still the standout from these released tracks so far.
