Big news also on my end, as I recently sold my Marshall Bluesbreaker (my only amp for about sixteen years or so) and have very happily replaced it with a Fender '68 Custom Vibrolux Reverb:

Certainly loud enough! 35 watts, 2x 10" speakers.

Sounds great, a lot glassier and less compressed than my old Marshall, which suits me better.

I was watching this thing J Mascis did for fender play and he showed off a blue tele that he says he does all his leads with on records. He had a black strat with gold hardware too but he didn't seem to have much of a role for it. Jazzmaster and Tele.
