"Normalisation" of negative stereotypes is a pretty big subject for you, stip. There is humour and simplification in this song, but that's because it's, to all intents and purposes, a pop song.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to call that humor but the lyric about the jungle is certainly the best lyric in either song. You might be right. Maybe that will help redeem the song a little bit the next time I hear it. But again I think this is really the sentiment improving, not the lyrics
