Dave A is so good on that too. It's really the Ed and Dave show.

I like Unplugged a lot too. For years I thought it was young PJ at their best. I don't know if I still feel that way (probably not), but I still enjoy watching it and I love seeing a person's first experience with it. But the more you watch Unplugged the less impactful it gets.

It's one of the obvious choices to show to someone who has never seen/heard Pearl Jam to convey what it was like when they blew up. It's probably Ed's best early showcase. He's just undeniable.

This guys response to Even Flow (and his first exposure to Pearl Jam) is awesome. I want this dude to be a member here.

Totally agree. I've turned a lot of people on to PJ through the Unplugged show. It's like the perfect gateway drug to PJ.

The pot of PJ.

I remember showing it to my older brother, who pretty much doesn't care about PJ, and he was completely blown away. Wanted to watch it twice in a row.

I really hope that the band doesn't pay attention to the message boards over at pearljam.com. They would retire a lot of my favorite songs if they do. Looking at some of the comments for their "weakest link- Riot Act" vote off thing, all I can do is shake my head and laugh. I seriously think some people would prefer the band just to play shit from the first 5 records and nothing else.
