Though this thread still has 200 fewer pages than the one about Episode VII, so there's that.

Somehow "very unfair!" is the most tragic part of it all.

Reverend Franklin Graham said the media and political pundits do not understand what happened because they do not understand the "God-factor," the power of prayer, and added that "God intervened" on Nov. 8 "to stop the godless, atheistic, progressive agenda from taking control of our country."

In a Nov. 10 post on Facebook, Rev. Graham wrote, "Did God show up? In watching the news after the election, the secular media keep asking 'How did this happen?' 'What went wrong?' 'How did we miss this?' Some are in shock. Political pundits are stunned. Many thought the Trump/Pence ticket didn’t have a chance. None of them understand the God-factor."

"Hundreds of thousands of Christians from across the United States have been praying," said Rev. Graham. "This year they came out to every state capitol to pray for this election and for the future of America."

What is your point here? Hate crimes are awful no matter what. The difference is Donald is the leader of the free world and wants to enact fascist policies

He was elected President of the United States less than two days prior. It's really quite stunning.

If they really had that much faith in god, they should have all just stayed home on election day. Who needs votes when you have god?

God helps them who help themselves by watching them help themselves and not helping them much at all.

There's certainly an argument to be made that obstructionism works as a political asset. Republicans kicked ass in the midterms and just won the Presidency and held a Senate everyone expected them to lose. There's reasons for this that go beyond tactics in Congress, but it wasn't disqualifying.

Everyone In Ireland is furious that our prime minister called Trump to congratulate him on our behalf. Now it seems he was the first/only European leader Trump took a call from. Now the Germans and Brits are furious apparently.
