Why JW was such a hit is a mystery to me....and i guess to the guys who made the movie too, i read somewhere that they were waiting for a bomb.


Im watching the movie again tomorrow in imax. Im actually exited.

My turn was this morning, first show. Made it successfully without spoilers and I would have been pissed had one thing in particular been leaked. I liked it but no science fiction film is ever going to draw me in like I did when I was a kid. That said it felt much more Star Wars-y than any of the prequels. They did a great job passing the torch of the original cast to the new ones. And now off to the spoiler thread...


But yeah, I didn't think Jurassic World wasn't that good either.

They need to make a heist movie with Wedge and Lando.

There was no way LV was going to like this movie. No way. It was just impossible.

Burt wasn't crazy about it. Everyone else seems to be on the good to great spectrum

I have never had "arbitrary" feelings about any movie.

The only other barometer I can think of is to just adopt the opposite opinion of everyone else.

That's such a fallacy. I don't disagree with consensus on every single movie.

My only prediction is that when Ray finds out Luke wiped her mind she'll be pissed and he'll say it was justifiable "from a certain point of view" and she'll say....well you know. I mean it writes itself.
