What are some of the worst Radiohead songs?
Dollars & Cents
Backdrifts
Sail to the Moon
And many of those Earthlings songs are so inspired and well written.tragabigzanda wrote:I really enjoyed about half of Earthling for the first few weeks, but find it unlistenable once the novelty wore off.Hatfield wrote:Bronus.....![]()
That's a new one for me.
I get Trag's production concerns. I REALLY wish Binaural, S/T and Earthling sounded better. I've gotten into Bruce a little more as I've aged, but think those early records sound like crap. Neil, however, has never disappointed me with production. MMJ's only stumble was Evil Urges.
Having said that, I'm not turning a negative ear to Dark Matter. I can't wait to put the headphones in.
I was quoting the original proffered scenario (terrible songs with amazing sound)tragabigzanda wrote:you said "terrible," not meRockPusher wrote:Lol at the concept of Radiohead having "terrible" songs. We need a much better reference for terrible song with ace production.Aunt_Claire_Foy wrote:Ok I’ll bite.tragabigzanda wrote:. Or like even the worst Radiohead is still engaging for me.

Dude Dollars and Cents! Blasphemy
You can criticise the hell out of the production if you want, but I'd still like to hear your thoughts on the songs as compositions/performances.tragabigzanda wrote:I'm sure there will be lots of elements I'll appreciate and maybe even enjoy. Sounds like Ed and Jeff in particular are in top form. Pity it will be on top of a bed of farting cardboard.Release_Me wrote:I fully respect your right to hate it, btw. Just trying to understand what you mean.
I like the way it kind of goes into James Bond score territoryMike wrote:Tinker Tailor really is boring
