I'm afraid I can't remember any more than vague "I like / not so much" responses, but two lines I wrote down:Tj wrote:So what is the lyrical theme of Wreckage and R/R what resonates
I really, really hope it's not that different but I think the movie mix is the Atmos Josh mix... we'll wait and see!VinylGuy wrote:So the movie mix is made by Josh Evans?
its going to be interesting for those who went to the theatre to see if they recall it differently when this one finally drops online
I'm really glad you enjoyed your cinema tripMs Harmless wrote:it's a really wonderful album, I love it and am grateful to all involved
thank you!Juvenal wrote:I'm really glad you enjoyed your cinema tripMs Harmless wrote:it's a really wonderful album, I love it and am grateful to all involved

Any take aways Harms? Are lyrics ruining any otherwise great songs are they lifting songs up. Are the forces on the nose or more airy ? I know you are a Poetic type what resonated with youMs Harmless wrote:thank you!Juvenal wrote:I'm really glad you enjoyed your cinema tripMs Harmless wrote:it's a really wonderful album, I love it and am grateful to all involved

no different intro, that WFS outro is still there; it was the Atmos mix so Josh might’ve mixed it but musically exactly the same; whoever that is be trippin'Vindicator wrote:I'm hearing that the movie theater versions are a big different than the record store listening versions. Users on reddit noted a difference on Dark Matter title track (??) and a different outro to Waiting For Stevie.
Wtf?
I was pleasantly surprised that the guitars on DM and Running were warmer, a little less tinny and metallic, so more consistent with the rest; I hope the stream has thatVinylGuy wrote:What did you heard on Running? more space? anything new?Ms Harmless wrote:I really, really hope it's not that different but I think the movie mix is the Atmos Josh mix... we'll wait and see!VinylGuy wrote:So the movie mix is made by Josh Evans?

Yeh I noticed the interlude was missing second time round. It’s weird, with the lyrics the overall song sounded clear to me, felt a bit muffled first time roundMs Harmless wrote:Vindicator wrote:I'm hearing that the movie theater versions are a big different than the record store listening versions. edit: when they play the album second time around it's missing the intro and interlude because those have no lyrics, was this guy late?
Maybe they're getting Josh Evans' Atmos mix.tragabigzanda wrote:Presumably it's a 5.1 mix, or maybe 7.1, so there could just be different things people hearingVindicator wrote:I'm hearing that the movie theater versions are a big different than the record store listening versions.
