So, I have the Brewer/Cards game on the radio, and the ump calls strike 2 when Carpenter thought he had ball 4. I clearly hear a fan yell "Hey ump, have you had as many beers as me today"
next pitch gets called for strike three, Carpenter gets tossed, Matheny gets tossed... I guess those were pretty bad calls? :haha:

I'm going to be in the Twin Cities for a bachelor party this August. Should I see the Twins PhatJ?

Target Field is spectacular, I'd highly recommend going. I'm not making any promises about the Twins though.

Noticed when I was watching it live and then assumed I was wrong when the Cards didn't appeal, but... I'm pretty sure he missed third.

Been to Target Field the year it opened (?). Had some excellent cheese curds. Cool stadium for sure.

I would recommend a wall, but video evidence suggests it wouldn't help.

Did the Cards challenge this? I've only seen it on twitter but it looks like his foot might have grazed the glove at one point.

No challenge. He definitely didn't tag him.

The Tigers are confounding. Somehow tied for first without 4 of their regulars.
But the starting staff has been disappointing thus far (outside of Matt Boyd- Thanks Phil!- and Fulmer). ChrisH is surely about to start with his "i told you so! about Verlander.
But the bullpen has to get.. betterish.

It's a very hard team to comprehend right now.

Why isn't Justin Wilson the closer?

Because KROD IS AN EXPERIENCED FUCKING CLOSER ALRIGHT.

and believe it or not, while I think Wilson would obviously be a better closer, if you move him to the 9th, the 8th just becomes the dumpster fire.

At least if the dumpster fire is in the 8th you can come back in the 9th.
