We owe a ton of federal tax and will once again be penalized for being so far off the estimate. The wife maxed out her withholding ls this go around and it’s worse than ever.

It’s like $400-500 for each of us since we file jointly.

I am not looking forward to doing our tax for last year at all. Had huge bills each year for the last 4, don't expect this one to be that much different. So much fun.

Just to recap:
- I posted happy belated int’l womens day
- I then made a woman in the kitchen sandwich joke
- A few posts later Ondish posts a happy belated as if it were his own original thought
- Doug then makes a women in the kitchen sandwich joke as if it were his own original thought

Wow.

what a fucking day.

Uhaul called me at the last minute and said they didn't have the truck I paid for a week ago, so they gave me a huge one that I had to Uber across town for. Then the movers were supposed to take 2 hours, but they took about 3 and a half before I finally told them to leave, and they did a shitty job of loading. I spent the next 5 hours loading what was left myself, cleaning the apartment and running last minute errands. Didn't hit the road until 6 pm. The trip was going well, and my dog seemed comfortable enough that he wouldn't die, but then I entered America's asshole: west Louisiana. Real True Detective territory... all the motels were either full, didn't take pets, or it was impossible to park my giant fucking truck anywhere near it. I fought sleep to finally find a place almost in Houston. Lost my phone. Spent an hour looking for and drove back to the gas station to see if was there. Turns out it fell out of my pocket when I was rummaging through the mess that used to be my belongings in the back of the truck.
