Edward looks like he listens to Damien Rice. He probably cries during sex.
Jacob all the way. Purely for sex reasons.

What book are you reading? The Three Body Problem?dimejinky99 wrote:Hair brained idea. You know the way we see different Star Wars trailers that are edited differently to pitch to Asian markets... could the Last Jedi been edited that way to appeal to that market? It is a very different than we’re used to style and Rian is a huge fan of Asian cinema and some of its great directors. I wonder.
I’m reading a sci fi book by a Chinese author at the moment and it’s structurally and tonally different to anything I’ve ever read. So they definitely have a different set of building blocks and view than we in the West do. Just made me wonder.

Yep.
Please don’t spoil it. My head is like boiled shite and I’m only halfway through. But it’s brilliant.
Don’t worry. I’m in. Full tilt.blueviper wrote:Dude you are in for a ride....with that book and the two following it.dimejinky99 wrote:blueviper wrote:What book are you reading? But I did want to say that I agree with how it’s interesting how Chinese write their sci-fi. I know you might lose some in the translation, but it is structured very different.
One more thing. This trilogy is one of my favorite sci-fi series I’ve ever read.
